Gabion Baskets filled with Gabion Stone have long been used as a way of creating a cost effective yet attractive retaining wall on a variety of projects.
Increasingly Gabion Walls are being used around the home due to the simplicity with which they can be constructed. Gabion Baskets should be built on a firm sub-base, preferably compacted MOT Type 1 to prevent settling.
The front of the baskets or 'face' should be constructed from hand picked Gabion Stone to give a flush stone wall effect. The remaining void behind the face layer is then backfilled with Gabion Stone.
All our Gabion Stone is graded in accordance with industry guidelines. We can supply all of our Gabion Stone products online in Bulk Bags or Loose by the Tonne with nationwide delivery available by request.
