HARD LANDSCAPING SUPPLIES LIMITED — DELIVERY (SHIPPING) POLICY

This policy forms part of, and should be read with, our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

PROCESSING AND LEAD TIMES

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Any delivery date or lead time we give is an estimate for guidance only, and time is not of the essence. We are not liable for losses caused by a delay, including wasted labour or contractor charges (see “Booking installers” below). Consumers: we will deliver within 30 days unless otherwise agreed.

DELIVERY METHOD AND ACCESS

Unless we agree a crane or fork-lift vehicle in writing, delivery is to the kerbside only, and you are responsible for offloading and for providing safe access. Please tell us in advance of any access restriction (narrow roads, weight or height limits, soft, sloping or uneven ground). Where safe access is not available we may deliver to the nearest safe point, which may incur additional charges. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery, and any movement of the goods beyond the delivery point is at your own risk.

FAILED DELIVERIES

If a delivery cannot be completed because of a lack of access, no one available to receive the goods, or refusal of the goods, we may charge for the abortive delivery and any re-delivery. Haulage for loose or bulk loads is chargeable once booked, whether or not the order proceeds.

CHECKING YOUR GOODS ON DELIVERY

Please check your goods against the delivery note on arrival. Note any visible damage or shortage on the delivery note and tell us within 72 hours, and report any hidden damage within 72 hours. Consumers’ statutory rights to reject faulty or damaged goods are not affected.

BOOKING INSTALLERS

Please do not book installers, tradespeople or plant until your goods have been delivered, checked and confirmed as correct. If you book third parties before delivery you do so at your own risk, and we are not liable for their costs.

IN-STORE COLLECTION

You can skip delivery charges with free collection from: Hard Landscaping Supplies, Top Yard, East Lodge, Courteenhall, Northampton, NN7 2QF. Select local pickup at checkout; your order will usually be ready within 2 hours. Collection hours are 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday. Please bring your order confirmation.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We do not currently offer international shipping.

ORDER STATUS

When your order is dispatched we will email you; where a tracking number applies, please allow 48 hours for tracking to update. If you have not received your order within the expected time, contact us at sales@hlsupplies.uk with your name and order number.
