Built by landscapers, for landscapers
Hard Landscaping Supplies didn’t start in a boardroom. It started on site — with a van, a phone full of half-decent suppliers, and one nagging frustration: why is it so hard to get good materials, honest advice and proper service all in the same place?
So we built the merchant we always wished we could buy from. One that actually knows what a sub-base is for, won’t sell you the wrong grade of grit, and picks up the phone when you need an extra bag before the mix goes off. Today we supply landscapers, builders and homeowners across Northampton, Milton Keynes and well beyond — but the way we think about the job hasn’t changed a bit.
That means a single bag for a weekend patio gets the same care as a full load for a multi-plot site — the right product, the right grade, loaded properly and out the gate on time. No upselling, no guesswork, no being passed from pillar to post.
Quality you can trust
We bag the majority of our bagged products in-house at our Courteenhall yard. That means we control everything — the source material, the screening, the fill weight — instead of relying on whatever turns up on a pallet.
The result is clean, consistent, properly graded product, batch after batch. If we wouldn’t use it on our own job, it doesn’t go in the bag.
Stocked deep, ready to load
Rows of bulk bags, filled and waiting — aggregates and gravels, sand, soils and sub-base. We hold real stock on the ground so you’re not stuck waiting on a delivery that never turns up.
Need it today? Pull into the yard and we’ll load you straight from the rack. Need it across the county tomorrow? It goes out on the lorry.
Bark, soils & decorative aggregates
Bagged and ready by the row — ornamental and play-grade bark, topsoils, gravels and decorative stone for borders, paths and planting. Pick a colour and grade that suits the scheme and we’ll load it on the spot.
Buying for a bigger job? Ask about loose loads and trade pricing on the bulk materials.
On-site recycling
Got muck to get rid of? Our yard runs an on-site recycling facility for excavated material — soil, hardcore and rubble. Tip on the way in, load up on the way out, and save yourself the trip to the tip.
We screen and re-use what we can, which keeps disposal costs down for you and waste off the landfill. Better for the job, better for the bill.
A true one-stop shop
Pallet upon pallet of porcelain, natural stone and block paving in the yard, alongside cement, timber and fencing, membranes, primers, grouts, tools and diamond blades. The whole job from one supplier, in stock and ready to go.
Fewer suppliers to chase, fewer part-deliveries to wait on, and one team who knows how it all fits together.
See it before you buy
Our outdoor paving display brings the full range to life — porcelain, natural stone and block paving laid out in real daylight, with planting and finished detailing so you can picture it in your own project.
Walk it, compare the colours and textures up close, and get honest advice from people who’ve laid it. Open to landscapers, builders and homeowners alike, with parking right outside.
No delivery too big or too small
This is our pickup — and it earns its keep. Small, local drops we’ll run ourselves, often same or next day, whether it’s a single bag, a few lengths of timber or a roll of membrane.
Nothing’s too small to bother us with, and nothing’s too big either — when the order steps up, our crane lorries take over.
Craned straight onto site
Locally, your order goes out on our own crane lorry and is lifted exactly where you need it — over fences and straight onto site, no forklift or extra hands required. Crane offload is available further afield too, by request.
“If we wouldn’t lay it ourselves, we won’t sell it to you.”
