How to Build a Gabion Wall

Build gabion baskets on a firm, compacted sub-base — ideally MOT Type 1 — to prevent settling. Hand-pick stone for the visible ‘face’ for a flush finish, then backfill behind with the rest. All our gabion stone is graded in accordance with industry guidelines.
